Now GSTR-2A can downloaded as excel file.

Login in the GST portal using your username and password.

After login, go to return dashboard and select the month for which GSTR-2A is to be downloaded.

Click on “GENERATE EXCEL FILE TO DOWNLOAD”

It takes 20 minutes for file to be downloaded.

After 20 minutes again click on “Generate excel file to download” and then download excel by clicking on ” Click here to download Excel – File 1″

Excel file will be downloaded as shown below:

Excel file downloaded contains duplicate for each invoices so to remove it apply filter on rate column by unselecting “blank”.

Excel file is ready for matching with purchases.
