Extension for the due dates of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filings Notification (No. 01/2025 & 02/2025 – Central Tax)
Key Details:
GSTR-1: The time limit for furnishing the details of outward supplies in FORM GSTR-1 for the tax period December 2024 has been extended to 13th January 2025. And for the quarterly filers due date is extended to 15th January 2025.
GSTR-3B: For registered persons required to furnish returns under the proviso of sub-section (1) of section 39 for the tax period October to December 2024, the deadline has been extended to 24th/26th January 2025. (depending on the category of state). And for monthly filers, due date is extended to 22nd January 2025.
This extension aims to ease the compliance burden and provide additional time for taxpayers to meet their obligations. Make sure to mark these new dates and plan your filings accordingly
