Charitable Trust in Maharashtra liable to pay 3% contribution from 2009 onwards

 

Bombay High Court has passed final order on collection of contribution from charitable trusts by Charity Comm office. Earlier, it was 2% but was kept on hold since 2009 by Bombay HC.

To the surprise of all, the court has ordered to collect 3% of contribution from 2009.

Now all the trust in Maharashtra ha s to be prepare to pay the higher contribution.
