Extension of Time for Submission/Uploading of online Annual Returns under FCRA for the Year 2020-21
Central Government extends the time for submission/uploading of online annual returns (Form FC-4 with scanned copies of income and expenditure statement, receipt and payment account and balance sheet) under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Rules, 2011 for the year 2020-21 up to 30th June, 2022.
As per rule 17 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Rules, 2011, every person who receives foreign contribution under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, shall submit Annual Return in form FC-4 within 9 months from the end of each F.Y. i.e., 31st December of every year. However, vide this Public Notice, the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred under the FCRA, 2010 has extended the due date for filing annual return pertaining to F.Y. 2020-21 till 30th June, 2022.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Subject: Extension of Time for Submission/Uploading of online Annual Returns for the Year 2020-21- regarding.
As per rule 17 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Rules, 2011, every person who receives foreign contribution under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, shall submit a signed or digitally signed report in electronic form in Form FC-4 with scanned copies of income and expenditure statement, receipt and payment account and balance sheet for every financial year beginning on the 1st day of April within nine months of the closure of the financial year.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, the Central Government hereby extends the time for submission/uploading of online annual returns for the year 2020-21 up to 30th June, 2022.
