Tenders are degrading the profession in a big way.

Lot of corruption also get involved in the process and the qualitative aspects is ignored in the process.

Minimum fees quoted in tender automatically becomes L-1 because CA members start filling tenders on that minim rate itself without analyzing the scope of work and the reputation that will be carried by the profession.

ICAI need to seriously look in to the issue and must prescribe that minimum fees guidelines be stocked wherever quoting the fees in writing to anyone.
