Vivad Se Vishwas is recently proposed  during the Union Budget – 2020.

VVS 2020 aims to resolve the tax disputes of 4.83 Lakh cases which are pending at various appealate forum from CIT – Appeal to ITAT, from HC to SC. Totla whopping sum Rs. 9.32 lakh crore of dues are pending at various such forums.

VVS is a sort of amnesty bill which provides relief in  interest and penalty.

It is available only if the appeal ifbtaxpayer is pending  to be paid.
