Now, Assessee can add CA, ITP & Advocate as Authorized Representative in all e-Proceeding

Another feature has been added at www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

Now, Assessee can add their consultant whether CA, Advocate or ITP as their authorized representative.

After logging, one can go to e-assessment section wherein the following will be displayed:

At the right hand side, an “Action” menu has been added to add the counsel as AR.

After clicking, add button, the following screen ask for the details like, Type of AR (CA, Adv, etc), Membership no. , PAN, Name, Mobile Number, Email. Even employee or related person can act as an AR in the assessment proceeding

Membership number is applicable only if CA is added as AR.

Now, Assessee need not share the password with their AR and can simply authorize them so that they can do compliance on behalf of Assessee.
