Fresh Petition at Gauhati High Court

Last TWO days for finalizing the Tax Audit. The Chartered Accountants are busy completing the audits. And there is news that gives another hope for date extension, in form of Gauhati High Court. A Writ Petition has been filed at the Gauhati High Court, the hearing of which is fixed at 31^st of October 2018.

There are chances that the due date will extend on the due date.

After so many Writ Petitions, representations still the chances of last minute update are there. The date that was earlier 30^th September was increased to 15^th October and now which is 31^st of October can again increase.

This is not a relief but a tension for a Chartered Accountant as the clients again start delays in submission of required records.

One shall ignore the noise of last minute date extension and focus on the work.
