To select the case in accordance with the new system and mechanism as provided by the FA – 2021, the CBDT has issued instructions asking AO AO to upload information on the portal of assessee by 31.12.2021 for AY 2015-16 & 2018-19 for reopening of asstt.

With this, the process of new reassessment proceeding is all set under the new provision. After the same is uploaded, the notices will be issued in accordance with the section 148 giving an opportunity to the assessee to explain the case. If not satisfied, the case will be taken up for reassessment proceedings.
